With dozens of new throwers joining the axe throwing community daily. We thought it was important to offer insight to those looking for their axe of choice, why they should choose a WATL approved axe and which one is right for them? The current lineup of WATL approved axes includes, The Corporal, The Ace of Spades, The Butcher, The Bad Axe, The Raptor and eventually a WATL produced Big Axe (yet to be named). Today we break down each axe’s strengths and which one you should choose.
The reason we recommend WATL axes is simple. They’re created specifically for axe throwing. With ultra thin profiles out of the box we save you time, money and the headache of profiling them yourself. We offer near maximum handle length to allow throwers of any height and style to adjust their handle length without having to rehang an axe head. They, of course, fall within all WATL axe regulations.
