WATL works tirelessly to better the sport and industry of axe throwing through marketing campaigns, televised events, and public exposure. We exist to bring the sport of axe throwing further into the mainstream and create a long-lasting industry. DISCOUNTED AXES, STENCILS, MARKERS & MERCHANDISE
- WATL® manufactures and sells axes, target stencils, and markers via the online store to the public.
- WATL® offers all these products at a discount for affiliates to help save costs on day-to-day operations.
- Merchandise and WATL® axes are also available at a discount, allowing affiliates to sell at a markup for additional revenue.
- If you reach the threshold of purchases in the WATL Affiliate store during a calendar year, your venue fees will be waived for 12 months.
DISCOUNTS ON LUMBER
- In North America, we have partnerships with two lumber suppliers to provide industry-leading service at a WATL affiliate-exclusive price.
- Affiliate discounts are designed to reduce one of the most consistent operational costs for venues, helping make target maintenance more predictable and affordable year-round.

ACCESS TO SCORING SOFTWARE
WATL® has the most advanced axe throwing software on the market. The app helps affiliates facilitate official WATL® leagues and tournaments.
League players can track their progress each season using in-app statistics and use the free practice scoring simulation from their player profiles.
Global and local rankings let players track their progress on a local and international level.
The app team ships new features regularly to serve affiliates and throwers better.
Competition
SANCTIONED LEAGUES AND EVENTS
- Participating in league play helps build a fan base and community around affiliate venues for repeat customers.
- Players come back season after season to compete against local competitors and across the world on global leaderboards.
- WATL® offers three league play options: Standard League, Big Axe League, and Duals (two participants throw at the same target simultaneously).
- Players from each venue who attend WATL® sanctioned televised tournaments also get a chance to represent your location on ESPN.

CERTIFIED COACH
The WATL® Coach Certification is the best resource to help you or your staff become the best coaches possible — covering axe knowledge, customer service, safety, axe care & maintenance, technique, and more.
CERTIFIED JUDGE
The Certified Judge Program standardizes leagues globally. All judges are added to an international database and registered online, signalling that your venue is official — and giving certified judges the chance to assist with larger global tournaments.
CERTIFIED TRAINER
Certified Trainers are third-party trainers who travel to your facility to train you and your staff. They’re business owners and individuals with extensive experience running an axe throwing facility, including backend functions and superior knowledge of the sport.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Headed by the Commissioner of the World Axe Throwing League®, WATL® gives each affiliate the resources to provide the best possible quality experience for guests. Our WATL Mentorship Program connects you with axe venue owners and operators with years of combined experience.
MONTHLY MEETINGS
