WATL is proud to announce that, in conjunction with Valkyrian Steel, that the Team Melee World Championship will be hosted WATC weekend.
This community-led event will take place on Thursday, December 9th at Splinters Axes and Ales in Fort Worth Texas.
During the event, and following, Splinters is offering WATC throwers and spectators a special rate of $20/hr for practice. They also offer full bar service at the venue.

Team Melee World Championship
This tournament consists of the 4 top Team Melee Teams that competed throughout the 2021 Season, coming together to crown a champion.
Once the Champion has been crowned, spectators will have the opportunity to form ad-hoc teams captained by experienced Melee throwers, to experience the format first hand!
Maker’s Market
In addition to the Championship Team Melee, WATL will be hosting an Axe Marketplace, with some of the top Axe Makers, and Axe Merchandisers from our community.

About Team Melee
What is it:
2 Teams, composed of a minimum of 5 players each, competing head to head in multiple Axe Throwing Disciplines (Standard Hatchet, Duals and Big Axe) to earn points for their team. The team with the most points at the end of 4 matches wins the game!
Scoring:
Scoring is based on match performance by the throwers. Players earn points for winning matches, based on the score they throw, if they win or not, and points for hitting kills.
