The first-ever season of the WATL Flex League is officially complete! With throwers from across the world participating on their schedule, this new WATL league format brought out the best in competitors, while proving that axe throwing can fit into anyone’s lifestyle.

Not bad for a debut season. Whether it was a lunchtime throw, a weekend grind, or a late-night session, Flex League competitors showed us exactly what this format is capable of. And now…we’re just getting started.
You vs. the World
One of the most exciting parts of the Flex League? The competition is truly global. No matter where you throw from, Flex League gives you the chance to test your mettle against axe throwers from across the world. It’s not just about comparing your local leaderboard to where you rank globally anymore – it’s about seeing how you stack up against people across the world, with a chance at doing so in real-time.
Many Flex competitors chose to film & upload their games to Youtube or Facebook, with some, such as World Champion Ryan Smit livestreaming (with an awesome setup!) in the exclusive Flex Season 2 Facebook group like below:
But that’s not the only way to play! Flex’s biggest benefit is that it’s YOUR games, on YOUR time, wherever you want to play them. The App team is hard at work on an integration so you’ll be able to play directly with your opponent over video call…right in the app! More news on that integration to come.

That’s right — the Flex format now extends beyond Hatchet! Throwers can now take on Big Axe and Hatchet Duals in a way that works with their calendar, not against it. Whether you’re aiming for Killshots solo or syncing up schedules with your long-distance Hatchet Duals partner that you normally only get the compete with at tournaments, Flex League is built for everyday life.
