The champion will take home this beautiful custom 2019 US Open ring and a place at the 2019 World Axe Throwing Championship.

Thanks to the amazing feedback we received after the Throwdown Axe Festival we’ll be running an unofficial duals tournament on Saturday night for all the tournament entrants as a bonus perk for signing up to come to the US Open. Duals will start on Saturday night and run to completion.

Tournament Schedule

Friday check-in will take place from 2 PM until 6PM and seeding throws will begin at 7 PM SHARP. We’ll be playing the whole tournament bracket down to the Top 6 on Saturday, and the final matches will take place Sunday starting at 1PM. For full schedule information be sure to check out the 2019 US Open Event Page.

The US Open will be the last chance to qualify for the 2019 World Axe Throwing Championship via tournament play. League play will still continue with the Top 12 throwers of Summer and Fall leagues qualifying through as well. Keep up to date with the Summer Leaderboards here.

You can also follow World Axe throwing League action on Facebook and Instagram as we gear up for the 2019 US Open. We want to see you cheering on your favorite throwers all season long with the hashtag #WATL!
