The World Axe Throwing League prize pools just keep getting bigger! Thanks to Got Wood Axe Throwing and Angry Axe Throwing in Tulsa Oklahoma, we’re seeing the largest prize pool in WATL history. $11,000. The Angrywood tournament takes place at the end of this month from Friday September 27 to Sunday September 29. With a full weekend scheduled they’ve even included prizes for a trickshot competition and WATL’s third official duals tournament, $500 and $1000 respectively. The latest addition to the prize pool is a birth in the 2019 World Axe Throwing Championship later this year!

With the same format as the Throwdown Axe Festival, the full singles tournament will be run on Saturday with Duals and the trickshot contest to follow on Sunday. In an awesome collaborative move Angrywood will be split between Got Wood Axe Throwing and Angry Axe Throwing before finishing the competition at Broken Arrow Brewing!
