Florida is home to the largest number of WATL affiliated axe houses of any state in the World Axe Throwing League. Spanning from Miami to Jacksonville and Pensacola the entire state is within 2.5 hours of an axe throwing facility at all times, and in most cases less than 1 hour.
Florida’s Top Talent
Florida’s top talent pool hails from the Jacksonville region as Dustin, Brandon and Dennis all primarily throw out of Autobahn Jacksonville. Having all been to at least a pair of major WATL tournaments in 2019 the growth of talent has been explosive.

Grizzly Axes
The sole axe throwing venue in Pensacola, Grizzly Axes features 24 targets in a 6,000 square foot facility! Owned and operated by Jeffery Fischer, two years of research went into building Grizzly Axes and it shows. You can check out their location at 6300 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32504.
Class Axe Throwing Jacksonville
With locations all over the country it’s no surprise Class Axe has a location in Jacksonville! It’s so popular even Tim Tebow stopped by last week to check the place out, he’s pretty good for a beginner. You’ll find Class Axe in Jacksonville at 9230 Arlington Expy B, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
Autobahn Jacksonville
Autobahn is another company with axe houses all across the United States! Their location in Jacksonville has the largest league turnout of anywhere in Florida with almost 30 members this fall. Autobahn Jacksonville sits in the south side of the city at 6601 Executive Park Ct N, Jacksonville, FL 32216.
The Firehouse Urban Axe Throwing
The Firehouse in Ocala is the go to spot for throwers between Jacksonville and Orlando. Able to “house” up to 60 people you can have the location entirely to yourself. Epic Axe Throwing
Epic Axe Throwing in Orlando was founded after a trip to Montreal to experience axe throwing first hand. After finding nothing else in the area, Epic Axe Throwing was born and now lives at 47 E Robinson St #104, Orlando, FL 32801.
Axe On/Axe Off
With 20 targets, Axe On/Axe Off is the larger of the two venues in Orlando by lane size! In addition to regular events and leagues they also hold weekly tournaments with WATL rules on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. You’ll find Axe On/Axe Off at 1355 Sand Lake Rd Suite 4, Orlando, FL 32809.
Molly’s Hatchet
Molly’s Hatchet insists there is nothing more American than throwing an axe. Open 7 days a week for walk-ins and reservations, Molly’s Hatchet Serves the city of Zephyrhills just northeast of Tampa. You can find Molly and hatchet at 38428 5th Ave, Zephyrhills, FL 33542.
The Backyard
The Backyard is home to Axe Throwing, Bocce, Shuffleboard, Pool, Darts and Cornhole alongside a full restaurant and bar! Under the same roof they even house Escape Rooms and Bouldering and a Ninja Warrior course. Axe Throwing Tampa

Opening just in May of 2019, Boomxe proudly serves Sebring Florida. Open until midnight on Friday and Saturday it’s the perfect place for a date night or to hone your skills. TJ’s Hatchet Hangout

Axe Throwing Society
Axe Throwing Society featured the second largest league turnout in Florida during the 2019 Summer Season. Pompano Beach residents really feel at home inside the brightly lit venue covered in turf and featuring a full sports bar as well!
