WATL State Profile: Texas

February 20th, 2020

The return of our state profile series heads for its first stop of 2020 in Texas. The Lonestar state is no slouch in terms of axe throwing venues with seemingly a new venue joining the WATL from Texas every month.

Texas’ Top Talent

2019 was a breakout year from some of Texas’ top talent. Greg Dillard leads the way with an impressive performance at the US Open and World Championship. He narrowly missed a TV appearance in the former after being eliminated by perennial allstar David Cycon. More solid tournament performances the Houston Axe Throwing contingent lock them up as some of the top throwers in Texas.
