We’re about to kick off our Spring League this year and we are super happy to announce that this league will be our largest axe throwing season ever! Being a worldwide organization our goal has been to unite axe throwers from all over the world and as we continue to grow, we get continue along that goal more each season!
This season we have competitors from Canada, the U.S.A., Ireland, Brazil, and Denmark!
Competitors this season include Bad Axe Throwing, The Wood Shed, Far Shot Recreation, Tom O’Hawks and Bury the Hatchet, Ragnarok Axe Throwing, Columbus Axe Throwing, Flying Axe Factory, Houston Axe Throwing, LumberJacks Axe Throwing, Got Wood, Mhaxado, The Axe House, and Møllevej.
Players will compete for the ultimate title of World Axe Throwing League Regional Champion of all their respective locations, all while being able to compare their scores with players from all of our locations in 7 countries!
Though they may be different in name, these official WATL members abide by the standards that you’d find at any of our affiliated locations and are ready and willing to set you up with a League Membership to compete for our top prize at the end of a season.
We were lucky enough to have 3 countries represented to compete in the first ever World Axe Throwing Championship. And many of those members have continued to compete every season since. As we continue to grow we hope that number will as well!
Whether your new, slightly hesitant or want to show off your skills, of of our awesome WATL affiliates will show you how to throw an axe and ensure you leave with some awesome memories. Their coaches will help guide, support and encourage that inner Lumber Warrior to step up. We are thrilled to have such awesome members compete and be a part of the WATL family!
Spring League starts just next week, on April 9th. The summer league will be starting in mid-July of 2018. Be sure to register at your local urban axe throwing club for your chance at next years WATL Championship.
