The World Axe Throwing League (WATL) is the largest professional association for axe throwing in the world. We have 275+ members, in 22 countries, with 340+ locations and growing! WATL is responsible for the organization of axe throwing’s major international tournaments, notably the World Axe Throwing Championship.

This year, the World Axe Throwing Championship is made of the top 128 axe throwers in the world. All coming together on one day to represent their local regions, take home the trophy, and make history by claiming the title of ‘World Axe Throwing Champion’. In addition, WATL adds the brand new world championship competition for the disciplines of Duals and Big Axe.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

No outside alcohol will be allowed on the premises.

Parking is extremely limited. Please plan to carpool or use a ride service.

Masks are mandatory at all times. No exceptions.

All attendees will have their temperature taken upon the first arrival of each day.

There will be outdoor seating areas to help promote social distancing. Please plan accordingly for colder weather. Tables and chairs will be provided; lawn chairs are welcome.

Anyone without a qualifying bid or spectator ticket will not be allowed on the premises. This includes outdoor seating areas and tents. No exceptions.

 

The venue will be open during the following times for paid practice for 1 hour sessions at a time. 
Thursday     4:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday          12:00pm – 4:00pm

Open throwing will be allowed 30 minutes prior to each tournament. We ask that throwers take only 20 practice throws and rotate out of the lane.

There will be no parking available at the front of the venue. Please use Huff Road NW and make a turn onto Ellsworth Drive immediately behind the venue. Parking will be at the end of the street on the right hand side.
