Celebrating The Community
On International Axe Throwing Day, June 13th, Axe Throwers from around the world come together to celebrate the sport of Axe Throwing. One of the highlights of the day is the WATL World Record competition. These events highlight the skill, creativity and passion of the WATL community.
In 2020, International Axe Throwing Day was celebrated by setting the WATL World Record for “Most Axes Thrown At A Target,” 406 Throwers came out to set the record.
WATL World Records are available all year round, but we encourage Throwers to come together on June 13th each year to break, and make, new WATL World Records.
